A U.S.-based importer of men’s clothing.

ISSUE

The client received a large order from Costco for Italian Cashmere sweaters but did not have the credit to purchase the goods.

SOLUTIONS

Express Trade Capital issued letters of credit that provided the financing the importer needed to produce the order. In addition, Express arranged for the shipping and distribution of the Cashmere sweaters to a number of Costco stores in U.S., Korea, U.K., Japan and Mexico. Express also provided the client with cash advances against its receivables.
